Is Police Constable Recruitment 2025 Ongoing?
Yes. The National Police Service has confirmed the recruitment exercise after lifting the previous court order.
The recruitment will take place nationwide on Monday, 17th November 2025 at all sub-county centres in Kenya.
All interested applicants must prepare their documents and appear in person at their correct sub-county centre on the recruitment day.
Eligibility Requirements for Police Constable Recruitment 2025
To apply for this position, you must meet these basic requirements:
1. You must be a Kenyan citizen with a valid National ID card.
2. Your age must be between 18 and 28 years.
3. You must be phsically and medically fit.
4. You must meet the minimum height requirement:
• Men: 5 feet 8 inches.
• Women: 5 feet 3 inches.
5. You must not have a criminal record or pending case.
6. NYS graduates who meet all other rules are encouraged to apply.
7. Female applicants must not be pregnant during recruitment and during nine months of training.

These are the minimum qualifications that are expected of applicants:
• KCSE mean grade of D+ and
• D+ in English or Kiswahili
How to Apply for Police Constable Recruitment 2025
The application is not completed online.
So, you must print the form and submit it in person. Follow the steps below to do that:
1. Gather original copies and photocopies of these documents:
• National ID
• Birth Certificate
• KCSE Certificate
• Other school certificates (if you have any)
• NYS certificate (only if you attended NYS).
2. Print two copies of the Police Constable recruitment form.
3. Fill the form in capital letters.
4. Do not leave any part empty. If it does not apply to you, write N/A (Not Applicable).
5. Identify your nearest sub-county recruitment centre.
6. Be present at 8:00 AM on Monday, 17th November 2025.
7. Officers will carry out:
